In the heart of the German industrial centre for sanitary fittings Mr. Falkenrich senior was one of the first people to introduce the method of belt grinding in his grinding shop. With a lot of commitment, hard work, his readiness to take risks and employ innovative ideas and his excellent skills as a craftsman, he overcame the first, very difficult years after the war and opened the way for the company's success of today. Mr Falkenrich senior died in 1995 at the age of 73.

The lack of suitable contact wheels for this metal cutting technology, which was totally new and unknown in those days, lead to the development and manufacture of his own products.

From these early beginnings a broad product range for mechanical surface finishes for almost every branch of industry was developed. Today, Falkenrich products are marketed successfully worldwide.

The solution of individual customer problems and the development of new products are the main feature in the company's philosophy. Quality of service is as important as the quality of the actual product and are the top priority in all our commercial activities.

In the eighties, his son, Heinz-Günther Falkenrich, with two degrees in engineering (Dipl.Ing.(FH), Dipl.Ing. (FH) ), took over as the general manager of the company and has succeeded his father in the company tradition. Today, we design and develop our products in our own laboratories and test customer samples in our own grinding shop. Our production uses the latest modern technology and we manufacture with highly trained, experienced staff and offer worldwide advice and consultancy through highly qualified graduates in engineering and applied technology. To maintain our level of excellence with the constantly rising demands and requirements in the quality of our products, we started operating a computer assisted production line (CAM) in the middle of the eighties.

An example of our constant effort to create new products is the development of DEBU brushes. With this new construction of brushes we have been able to achieve substantial improvements in the production process for the electronic industry. However, despite this great success we only regard this product as an intermediate stage for further innovations.
